I've sunk to an all time low!!

I've worried about even posting this, but it's just too funny not to share. I'll apologize right up front if I offend anybody. Greg and I were sitting up at the Lodge with a friend of ours and she pulled this out of a bag.

She had ordered it and it was way too big (no kidding, I thought it was some type of boat). She couldn't return it and ask if I could do something with it.

I made her a purse!

I'm going to fill it with a couple bottled waters when I give it to her.
Get it? Water Bra.

As Larry the Cable guy would say, "Please forgive me for this one"!

Neck Warmer

I have to start by saying that my family thinks this is another entry into my Craft Hall of Shame. My neck warmer all started with leftover Sherpa material I had after making the two little girls scarves.

There wasn't enough left over to make more scarves, so I came up with neck warmers. Sometimes my ideas sound so good in my head but when they come out, not so great! My idea was to wear something around your neck that keeps you warm and you don't have to worry about losing it or carrying it while you're out running around. Here's how it was supposed to look (kind of). By the way, my pictures were horrible. I got a new camera and couldn't figure out how to use it.

That's what I intended it to do, but the girls had different ideas!

A girl scout sash. Or how about a belt?

They all had such a good laugh over my "great idea".

Josh did come to my rescue and told me I should make them with a button or velcro instead of sewing it together so it would lay flat. Okay, back to the drawing board.

Another Hall of Shame Entry

Okay, since I obviously am going to have more than one of these, I guess I should add a gadget on my sidebar for just the Hall of Shame. Hey, look at me talking blog talk! I don't have any pictures, because frankly, I was just too embarrassed to even take a picture. This was bad! I saw a recipe on one of the blogs I look at and I'm so sorry I don't remember whose it was. I really want to give credit to her. She made cookies with just 2 ingredients and then added chocolate chips. It was a spice cake mix and canned pumpkin that you mix together and then add the chocolate chips. They were awesome. Greg told me to make them again, but this time add raisins instead. That would probably have been even better, but I decided to use apple pie filling instead of pumpkin and then just bake them. I watch the cooking channel way to much when I'm sewing and now suddenly I think I'm Paula Deen. What was I thinking! They were horrible!!! First they didn't bake right, but I thought I could live with that and decided to taste it. Follow me here, spice cake, apples, what could go wrong? They were terrible! The rest of the dough and the first batch of cookies went in the trash. I'm done baking, back to crafting.
